Static Blogging

For about a year I've been using micro.blog to host my thoughts. Recently however I've felt that reducing my posts to 250 characters was a bit limiting.

I've experimented in the past with Ghost and Medium, but nothing really seemed adequate for my needs.

Today I moved everything over to a very simple static site generator that I threw together. Combined with CircleCI, I can write new blog posts via GitHub's online editor and they'll automatically be published to my S3-hosted site.

It's a neat solution, and comes with the benefit of having no maintenance now that the script's written and working.
